School-Based Health Clinics

Many school districts in Oregon have school-based health centers with nurses, counselors, and other licensed professionals who can help families to access general health related care or to find help for mental health, substance use, and other health related issues. We recommend reaching out to your school district for more information about these resources. Oregon Note

To our friends looking for youth mental health or substance use resources, finding youth support resources can be challenging in Oregon due to limitations in availability, but don't give up. If you are having challenges finding resources, you may be able to get additional help from your pediatrician or family doctor, insurance provider, local school, or county health agency. Keep asking for help; there are people who are knowledgeable about this issue and want to help you and your child return to health.
